Who Are The Adventurers?

Adventurers are socially and physically active adults in the Austin, Texas area who want to pursue greater independence, connect with their community, and strive to reach their full potential.

Our Mission: Independence - Community - Potential

Our Mission: The Adventurers Academy of Lifelong Learning helps adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Austin, Texas area connect with their community, develop greater lifelong independence and achieve their full potential through social, educational, recreational, and vocational experiences.

The Adventurers Academy

offers outstanding continuing education, vocational training, and community experiences every day, all year. It's a great alternative to traditional day programs!

Adventurers At Home

While "Sheltering In Place" during the pandemic, Adventurers were challenged to create a work of art that depicted one letter in a message they want to share with you.

  • The Adventurers banish the 'dis' in disability" - Jim Swift's report about the Adventurers aired on the 6:00 PM KXAN-TV newscast, Friday, March 15, 2013
