Weather Procedures

The Academy will generally follow the lead of Austin ISD and Hays CISD in making weather decisions. 
  • Remember, school districts have much more to consider than the Academy, so we may remain open even if they close.
  • If one of these closes, we'll likely close.
  • If one operates with a "two hour delay", we'll most likely open at the regular time (9:00).
  • Watch the website and expect an email to the Parents Group.
In any case, be careful and use your best judgment getting to the Academy!

  • Bring a SACK lunch in all-disposable packaging (because we're probably going somewhere!)
