Be a Fundraising Champion for the Adventurers!

Fundraising Champion Team Step by Step Instructions: 

Set up a Personal Fundraiser with Amplify Austin: Go to the Adventurers Amplify Profile Page and Click the "Fundraise" Button

1. Go to https://www.amplifyatx.org/organizations/adventurers-academy-of-lifelong-learning 
2. Click “Fundraise” Button. 
3. Name the Campaign YOUR full name.
4. Add name, email and create password.
   • NOTE: IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A “GIVEGAB” ACCOUNT, sign in with that email and password.
5. CONGRATS! You have a page :)

Access your Fundraising Champion Dashboard: Go to GiveGab and Click the "Log In" Button

1. Go to https://info.givegab.com/ 
2. Click “Log In” and put in your email and password that you just created.
   • This should send you to your dashboard/home but if it doesn’t you can click your name in the corner and click “Personal Dashboard” 
3. Click the “Dashboard” button on your intended Fundraiser.
   1. This will take you to a page with multiple options that you can edit or share.
4. Click the “Tell Your Story” button.
   1. Set a Goal Amount.
   2. Write 3-5 sentences about why you are passionate about this fundraiser.
5. Click “Make a Donation” button.
   1. Make an initial donation to start your campaign.
   2. When donating write 1-2 sentences about your donation because this will appear on the Adventurers Academy public page.
6. Congrats! You’re a Fundraising Champion :) 

Optional: Spreading the word 

1. Click the “Reach Out” button.
   1. We recommend reaching out to 10 friends and family members to start! 
   2. Click, “Send Email”. Amplify has a great template to get you started. Personalize it a bit, or write your own.
2. Click the “Share Socially” button.
   1. Copy the link and post to your Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn.

Optional: Stewarding Donors

1. Click “Give Thanks” to give appreciation to your donors
   1. Their names will appear once they donate. 
   2. Personalize the email or use the template Give Gab suggests
