She manages the “Adventurers Enterprises” component of the Academy’s Vocational Experiences program and helps chart the course of the Academy. |

Judy Bollom
Assistant Vice President, Trust Administrative Officer for US Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management, Retired.
Judy's experience with banking, trusts, fund-raising, service on other nonprofit boards, big heart and enthusiasm help guide the Academy. She regularly volunteers in the office, provides transportation, and helps lead community trips.

Andrew Cavasos

Andrew contributes his leadership experience in real estate and as an entrepreneur to the Adventurers Academy. He works tirelessly as a volunteer in Adventurers programs and events.

Marsha Hughes
Special Education Teacher, Retired
Marsha Hughes brings the experience of thirty eight years in special education to the Adventurers Academy board. She holds degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education from Eastern New Mexico University. During her career, she has taught in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Logan, Utah at Utah State University Child Development Center and in Austin, Texas at Dawson Elementary School. She knows a number of our Adventurers personally. She is an active leader at Oak Hill United Methodist Church, serves on the board of the Adventurers Academy, and still finds time to enjoy retirement. She is blessed with two wonderful children and two equally wonderful grandchildren.

Gordon Mackey, C.P.A.
Certified Public Accountant; Director of Finance at Texas High School Coaches Association
Gordon has been in public accounting since 1982 and established his firm in 1991. He specializes in business, personal and estate planning. He lends his experience with nonprofit accounting and service as a nonprofit board member and officer to our board.

John Mackey
Science Teacher, Retired
John helped found the Adventurers with his wife, Diane Mackey. He manages the office, drives buses, and leads groups of Adventurers.

Matt Peyton
Matt began his involvement with the Adventurers in 2012 when, through The Peyton Family Foundation he established the Kathleen Anna Norton Scholarship. Matt’s wish for the scholarship is that no individual deserving of attending The Adventurer’s Academy of Lifelong Learning is ever denied that chance because of financial reasons.
Matt resides in Minnesota; he is happily married and has three wonderful children. He graduated from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Business.
Matt is a professional photographer. Specializing in portrait and real estate photography his work has been recognized on both a local and national level.
