Fridays are always a fun day at the Academy because we're always off on some special field trip or volunteer project. Today we visited the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Research Center on a beautiful, sunny day. We walked the trails through huge live oaks and swung from swings tied to the branches. We walked through the visitor center to learn more about Lady Bird Johnson and her environmental work. We climbed a tall tower from which we could see miles around southwest Austin.
